One of the greatest aspects of Cyberdog is that it can be extended—way more than any other browser out there.
If you have an HTML document, currently in Cyberdog there is no way to open that file on your hard drive besides laboriously typing in the file:/// URL.
The OpenFileService provides a menu item using Cyberdog’s CyberServices mechanism. Select the “Open File…” menu item from the “Cyberdog” menu. You will be prompted for the file you want to open. Holding down the “Option” key when selecting the “Open File…” menu item will add the file to your notebook.
How to Install:
OpenFileService is a FAT shared library (supporting both 68K and PowerPC machines).
The OpenFileService needs to be in the same location as the “Cyberdog Editors” library. Look in your system folder for “Editors”, and then “Cyberdog Libraries”. (Or you can use the Find command to search for “Cyberdog Editors”.
